Classic Giandujotto was born in Turin, in the second half of 1800. It was an ingot shaped chocolate, where some of the chocolate included in the recipe was replaced with a paste of fragrant PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts. This happened because of the commercial difficulties determined by the Independence War, that caused problems with cocoa supplying. This choice was an happy one, especially for palat!

This hazelnut is so special that in order to be sure of its origin, we only use hazelnuts harvested on our fields or on our partner farmers’ ones. After selecting and harvesting the hazelnuts, we roast them directly in our laboratory. Moreover, together with two other well known businesses in Piedmont, we created “Quatordes”, a project that takes care and promotes the PGI Piedmont Hazelnut usage, allowing us to control the whole supply chain of many of our products’ main ingredient.
Here we are in the Langhe Region, where the worldwide appreciated delicacy PGI Piedmont Hazelnut grows.
