This year, as it has been for the past three seasons so far, Guido Gobino takes part with Ayala Champagne and Serengeti to one of the most awaited sports event of golf lovers: the Colmar Award Contest.

There are 11 dates when the Colmar Award Contest will hosts international athletes: the first competition, organized at the “Carimate Golf Club” was last weekend. The other dates will be on the 28th and 29th april at the “Olgiata Golf Club”, on the 5th and 6th may at the “Royal Park I Roveri” and on the 26th and 27th may at the “Golf Colline del Gavi”. Our strong testimonial is Piero Gros, on each competition together with many athletes of the Colmar “family” such as Paolo De Chiesa, Giorgio Rocca, Costantino Rocca neo Presidente della PGA italiana, Federico Colombo, Gregory Molteni, Marco Crespi e Claudio Viganò, characters that show the always closest relationships between golf and ski.

With the warm season coming, Guido Gobino Summer Selection specialties and the cozy summer dehors are back again! The Bottega on Via Lagrange now welcomes our customers both in our outer dehors and in our inner tasting rooms.

Find out the summer menu and come tasting the refreshing and gourmand specialties of the hot season such as fruit syrups, desserts, ancient times ice creams, milk shakes and crushed ice drinks: they will all get together with the "Must" of Guido Gobino Selezione.

TV and New media Festival
On May the 4-5-6th in Dogliani (Cuneo, Italy) the first edition of the TV and New media Festival will take place.

It will be the first edition of a new and unique event, nationally speaking, an extraordinary occasion for sharing ideas, proposals and thoughts between the leading characters of tv and media communication of today. The guests of the event will be the most well-known faces, new characters, traditional and professional editors of the multimedia universe, producers and absolute stars of the small screen.

Guido Gobino is glad to be official sponsor of the event, supporting organization and proposing some dedicated tasting.

Case histories, workshops, contests, laboratories and seminaries will live up the streets and will help us out to understand "the tv we will watch tomorrow".

“TAVOLETTA D’ORO” AWARD 2012

The "Tavoletta d'Oro" Award, the desirable prizes given by the "Compagnia del Cioccolato" (the biggest national institution that deals with Chocolate, since 1995) have been assigned to the best creations made by the national artisanal chocolate producers. The ceremony took place from the 15th until the 17th April in Venice, during the "Gusto in Scena" event.

Guido Gobino has been awarded for two different categories: Best Milk Chocolate (with his 35% Milk Chocolate Cialdina) and Best Gianduja Chocolate (with his new Maximo +39®).

The 35% Milk Chocolate Cialdina is made with selected high quality mildly aromatic cocoa, to obtain a delicate and sweet taste, with light caramel notes.

Smart Egg
For Easter 2012, Guido Gobino suggests a new Easter Eggs Collection that play with design and new technologies. The Smart Egg is one of these. Smart Egg is the new creation born from the collaboration with the Truly Design Visual Communication Studio. This egg has a double surprise: the one hidden in the box and the one to be discovered by taking a picture at the QR code printed on the card that is together with the surprise.

An accessory for IPhone designed by Truly Design together with a collecting Art Work card is the surprise held in each egg. By taking a picture at the QR code that comes together with the surprise, moreover, it is possible to win and exceptional extra surprise!

The egg, realized both in 63% Dark Chocolate and in 35% Fine Milk, in a 500 grams size, is presented in a box that portraits in a modern and technological way the optical and minimal style of the '60s.

Truly Design Egg

Truly Design Egg
For Easter 2012, Guido Gobino suggests a new Easter Eggs Collection that play with design and new technologies. Out of these, it was impossible not to suggest a new edition of the beloved Truly Design Egg.

With the 2012 Truly Design egg edition, Guido Gobino confirms his interest for contemporary art related to the territory. Truly Design is the name of the Visual Communication Studio based in Turin that made the murals on the Guido Gobino business façade during the Gug’Art event in 2006 and that afterwards realized the Truly Design Eggs 2010 and 2011 editions. The 2012 Egg is produced in 63% Dark Chocolate, weights 500 grams, is decorated by hand and packed in customized boxes, part of the whole piece of art. The theme chosen this year was inspired by the murals made from the Studio back in 2006 and wants to tell in a fairy-tale style the easter atmosphere in Guido Gobino Chocolate Factory.

The boxes are silk-screen printed, they are made with no glue, produced in limited and numbered edition and each of them is signed both by Truly Design and by Guido Gobino himself.

A part from the Smart and the Truly Design Eggs, Guido Gobino is happy to introduce you his Assorted Small Eggs Collection and all the other Hand Decorated Eggs. The Small Eggs are suggested in 6 different and gourmand flavors: Gianduja, 35% Fine Milk, 63% Dark Chocolate, White Crunchy and pralined, Gianduja with Arabica Coffee and 63% Dark Chocolate filled with soft dark chocolate cream. Each wrapping color is a different flavor: check out the small brochure in the box to find out every single one.

The 2012 Easter Collection Decorated Eggs are available in 63% Dark, White, Fine Milk Chocolate and Lattecacao (the new Milk Chocolate recipe with a higher Cocoa percentage), are presented in different sizes and combine, together with the usual refinement of the Chocolate Selezione, an innovative and amusing design. Cocoa grains, Gold leaves, Dried fruits, as well as other ingredients and special decorations, thought for an original and elegant Easter Collection.

Volvo Winter Experience

Volvo Winter Experience
Volvo Winter Experience is an exclusive winter tour that will reach some of the finest Italian ski resorts. Guido Gobino is pleased to be a supporting partner of this unique experience.

The event kickstarts at Patascoss Shelter (Madonna di Campiglio), from January 25th to the 29th. The tour will then move to Plan de Gralba in Selva di Val Gardena from February 1st to the 5th and from February 8th to the 12th, before returning to the Patascoss Shetler at Madonna di Campiglio with two other appointments, 15-19 February and 22-26 February. Finally, the event will make a final stop in Cervinia, near to the Cretaz chair lift, from February 29 to March 4 and from March 7th through the 11th.

At the stages that will take place at Madonna di Campiglio, in the frozen lake, you will find the Volvo Safe Driving School, where, if you wish, you can sign-up for an exciting course on driving on snow or ice. You will also have the opportunity to watch the daily “Volvo Snow Show” held by professional pilots.

In each of the above locations you can make a free test drive on the road with the Volvo AWD models.

Also at the resort, guests can reward themselves with a Hot Chocolate courtesy of Guido Gobino and taste a selection of chocolates that will be offered to delight you while participating at all Volvo staff actitivities. Read More

Guido Gobino and Lavazza: a flavored partnership.

For the past twenty years Lavazza coffee interprets the universal pleasure of making a calendar with the world’s top photographers. “The Lavazzers” is the title of the twentieth edition of the Lavazza Calendar, to celebrate such a goal, he met 12 masters of photography that have made ​​great the name of the Lavazza Calendar worldwide.

During the presentation of the 2012 calendar took place at the Milan Triennale, Guido Gobino had the pleasure not only to offer tastings of its selection of quality chocolates, but also to prepare the cake the official event.

The sweet, about 1 meter in diameter and 30 cm high, was made with a soft chocolate cookie filled with ganaches flavored with delicious cappuccino and hazelnut.
